LONDONTOWN Pretty In Pastels Swatch and Review [Spring 2020]
LONDONTOWN is back with 6 pretty pastel shades that I honestly would rock all year round. These shades are the perfect addition to your LONDONTOWN collection!
My Thoughts on the LONDONTOWN Pretty in Pastels Collection
Hello everyone! Today I am testing out the new blogger format, so bare with me if this post comes out a little different than my others in the past!
But back to the polish - today I am sharing with you the LONDONTOWN Pretty in Pastels Collection! I am a tat behind on posting my spring polishes... opps! But I hope to get them all out over the next few days.
This collection is LONDONTOWN's Spring 2020 collection, and it features six new modern pastel shades that bring life to any cloudy day! I was gifted this collection by the brand.
I have been using LONDONTOWN polishes for 2 years now, they sent me their Spring 2018 collection when I was a much smaller page and blog, and we both have come a long way! I think the newer polishes from LONDONTOWN have really wonderful and easy formulas to use, and they have a wider brush (everything after Fall 2018) that is very user friendly. I have loved this company and if you want to check out my other reviews and what nail art I have done using their polishes, you can read more here!
Now on to the swatches...
Swatches of the LONDONTOWN Pretty in Pastels Collection
UNCOVERED | Uncovered is described as the perfect mix of beige, cream, and pink and I have to say I agree! This is a perfectly delicate and calming polish for spring and summer in my opinion. I used 3 coats for this photo.
BUTTERCUP | Buttercup is a true pastel yellow creme that will make you want to frolic through a field of buttercups and daisies! If you know me, you know yellows own my heart. Is this the most unique yellow? No, but it does have a nice creamy formula and I had no issues with! I got this opaque in 3 coats.
MINT NO CHIP | Mint No Chip is the perfect cool mint creme that is exactly like my fav ice cream (but plus the chip!). Again, is this the most unique color? No, of course not. But it does have a good formula and I used 3 coats for this photo.
IN THE CLOUDS | In The Clouds is probably my favorite polish in the collection! It's will make you feel like you're floating through baby blue skies. I love this light cornflower blue so so much for this time of year and I highly recommend this specific polish! You can use 2-3 coats for full opacity.
PLUSH | Plush is such a nice creamy mauve polish, and not one I would have pegged for spring! (but I like it!!) Definitely a dustier shade on me, but I think the richness is still perfect for the summer and spring time. I used 2 coats for full opacity.
ROSEWATER | Rosewater is a pale light pink cream, and it is really such a delicate polish. I think that this name is perfect for this polish because it is a sheerer polish with a wash of pink. I used 3 coats for this photo.
Final Thoughts on the LONDONTOWN Pretty in Pastels Collection
Okay - so what do you all think? I honestly really like LONDONTOWN and I don't see enough people talking about them!I don't think these are the most unique colors, but they are really nice staples from the brand, and I have really been focusing on rounding out brands I like with staples like this because I want to focus on art more in the upcoming months and I would like to be able to use just 1 brand for each look.
Anyway, I highly recommend these polishes! You can still pick them up from the LONDONTOWN website for $16 each, or on Ulta.com!
