My Thoughts on the Essie Bustling Bazaar Collection

Hello hello! Today I am sharing my swatches of Essie's summer collection, Bustling Bazaar! This collection was inspired by the bazaar's of Morocco. I am really loving the inspiration that the Essie team has been pulling from as of late, and I love the colors in this summer collection so much more than I was anticipating. 

slip on your kaf-tan and marrakech mules and head to the bustling bazaar! souq up the sun and admire the vibrant vistas while you mosaic on down to the wondrous marketplace maze.  spice it up as you barter & splurge on hand crafted textiles to dye for! but, keep in mind… it’s always worth the tassel!

Swatches of the Essie Bustling Bazaar Collection

WORTH THE TASSEL | Worth The Tassel is a bright and playful warm-toned, lilac purple cream polish. I love love love colors like this, and I feel like it reminds me a lot of one of my old favorites, Essie Play Date. I was able to get this one fully opaque in 2 easy coats.

BUSTLING BAZAAR | Bustling Bazaar is described as dusty cyan blue nail polish, but in my opinion it's more of a bright tiffany blue/teal polish. I don't think this one looks particularly good on me personally, but it did have a good formula that I was able to get opaque in 2 coats.

MOSAIC ON DOWN | Mosaic On Down is an enchanting gold nail polish laced with ultra-fine glitter throughout. This polish almost has a clear base, but is packed with glitters that give you this stunning golden glow. I built this one up in 2 easy coats.

SPICE IT UP | Spice It Up is a bold burnt red cream polish. This is a unique red to my Essie collection, but probably not the most unique red to my collection. This one has a nice formula, and I was able to build it up to full opacity in 2 coats.

SOUQ UP THE SUN | Souq Up The Sun is a creamy and radiant coraly-orange nail polish. This one really pops on the nail and is much brighter than it looks in the bottle. It's almost neon, but not quite. This was the only polish in the collection that needed 3 coats for full opacity.

KAF-TAN | Kaf-Tan is a warm and earthy nude, it looks like a burnt caramel on my skin tone. I actually really love this color for summer, and I think it will look great against everyone's tanned and sunscreen shiny skin! I got this easily opaque in 2 coats.
