My Thoughts on the KL Polish Zodiac Collection

Hello lovelies! It has been a minute, but I am so excited to share my swatches and review of the KL Polish Zodiac collection! Kathleen, the beauty guru behind the KL Polish brand, has always been obsessed with Zodiac signs, so it was only a matter of time before they came out with this collection!

I think Zodiac signs are so much fun, and I love being a Scorpio! Now before you go on to tell me that they aren't real -- yes I know, I just think Zodiac signs are so much fun and I am more than happy to be jumping on the zodiac train that is coming out everywhere these days.

This collections is comprised of 12 brand new shades, each inspired by the sign that they are named after. If you want to hear Kathleen's explanation for each shade, check out her reveal video here!

Now onto the swatches and nail art!

SCORPIO |  Starting with my sign of course, we have Scorpio a deep metallic burgundy polish that has a slight black flip. This polish reminds me of Cherry Coke and I think is perfectly captures the Scorpio spirit. This built up perfectly in 2 coats!

SAGITTARIUS | Sagittarius is a beautiful deep, vampy, purple creme polish. This builds up perfectly in 2 coats.

CAPRICORN | Capricorn is a metallic forest green polish with a dark brown flip, I just love this shade so much, and it is so incredibly unique! I have nothing like this in my collection, and I have a special place in my heart for greens these days. You can build this up in 2-3 coats.

AQUARIUS 2 | Aquarius 2 will remind you of the galaxy with it's metallic deep cobalt blue base and micro multi-colored glitters. This is opaque in 2 coats. 

PISCES | Pisces is a metallic aqua polish, with a few super fine metallic flakes throughout. I always love blue polishes, and again, this is a really unique color to my collection! That being said, this polish is pretty sheer on the first few coats but builds up nicely in 3 coats.

ARIES | Aries is a hot orange-red crelly polish. This was a tough color for me to pull off, but I think it is super pretty once you build it up. Since it is a crelly, it is super shiny, but also super sheer. For these pictures I did 3 coats, and you can still see a little bit of my nail line. 

TAURUS 2 | Taurus 2 is a neutral deep tan polish with olive undertones. This is not the most exciting shade in the collection, but the formula was great and built up beautifully in 2 coats. 

GEMINI | Gemini is a canary yellow creme polish, and the color is just absolutely gorgeous. As with most yellows, the formula is a little tough to work with. This was streaky and thin, but if you work quickly, you can get this to look perfect in 2-3 coats. 

CANCER | Cancer is a mid-toned blue-gray polish that is super chic, and perfect for the office. I was so surprised at how much I loved this polish on the nails and I highly suggest it if you are looking forf a fun, yet office appropriate, polish. This is opaque in 2 coats. 

LEO | Leo is a bright copper polish with gold glitter flakes throughout it. This is hands down one of my favorite polishes in this collection, but user be warned -- it's tough to take off! The payoff is worth it though, I promise. This is opaque in 3 coats. 

VIRGO | Virgo is a super deep gray creme, and the prefect substitute for black this winter! This is another gorgeous shade to wear around the office, and it builds up perfectly in 2 coats. 

LIBRA | Libra is a soft cool-toned pink polish that builds up to opacity in 2-3 coats.
